Scott Fensterer

Scott has been sculpting and painting for 35 years, selling his first “professional” sculpture at the age of 13. He has worked in special effects, from concept to application for 30+ years, as well as hard and soft good fabrication just as long. Scott is the head of the shop, lead sculptor and mold engineer as well as main prototyper and paint master. He’s worked with the best of the best, and lead projects from as small as private commissions, to feature films, network television, theme parks, museums, fine art galleries, and major toy companies. His experience in demonstrating/teaching technique and material use has afforded him the ability to assemble a bang-up team like the Avengers of the art world!

As a Captain America/Ironman hybrid he teaches as well as gets down in the trenches with the rest of us, sculpting, casting, cleaning, molding and painting. He lifts whats heavy, reaches high stuff, and despite what people may say, Hollywood didn’t change him! He’s known for getting “robbed” on a network television show (he may not have won the contest but if you ask him he’s won at life). Hollywood didn’t steal his spirit or his talent that’s for sure! #teamtallguys

Amber Fensterer

In addition to shop operations and administration, Amber brings years of experience in soft goods fabrication, hairwork and finishing, anatomical sculpting, and handles the shop’s inventory and sourcing. Her skills in makeup and hair have made her invaluable as Makeup Coordinator for the past three years, managing a half a dozen makeup artists and over 70 performers a night!

Other titles include The Blood Queen, Keeper of the Keys, Gaurd of the Cabinets, and Finder of Things. #teamtinyhands

Chelsea Vincent

Chelsea began as a shop intern and quickly became an indispensable part of our studio! Her strength in the shop crosses many areas including design, sculpting, molding, soft goods and hairwork. She brings with her over a decade of experience in fine arts, concept art, fabrication, and sculpture.

She enjoys putting things in the microwave to see what happens and likes to read Material Safety Data Sheets. She is the shop “wordsmith”, webmaster extraordinaire, and all things techy! #teamtinyhands

Ted Buffum

Ted’s years of experience in technical engineering made him a natural fabricator, mold engineer, and roto-casting specialist. In addition to shop tasks, Ted is often a model during makeup demos, earning him the moniker, “The Real Walking Ted “ and was a cue walker/performer at Winter Haven’s The Shallow Grave.

Around the shop, he is known for his horrible “dad jokes”, useless trivia, a history of head injuries, and preparation for living in a toxic environment. He also helps lift the heavy things and reach the high stuff. #teamtallguys
